|english| Catarina Marques was born in Coimbra in 1983. She’s vegetarian, Communication Designer by profession and 'crafty girl' at heart: “I started doing my accessories, sewing, photographing, making my shoes and clothes”. She made somes researches and learned traditional techniques and others more modern and started to mixed them to create her own techniques. 7 years ago she created a blog to share texts, images and finished projects: “And this way began Borboletas na Barriga”, a mark registered with pride.
The Borboletas are fun, colorful and mix different fabrics and patterns! In the shop you will find hair clips, rings, brooches...

Es vegetariana, Designer de Comunicación de profesión y ‘crafty girl’ de corazón: “empecé a hacer mis accesorios, a coser, a fotografiar, a hacer mis zapatos y ropa”. Ha investigado y aprendido técnicas tradicionales y otras más modernas y las fue mezclando has crear sus propias técnicas. Hace 7 años creo un blog en el que comparte textos, imágenes y proyectos terminados: “Así empezó Borboletas na Barriga”, una marca registrada con mucho orgullo.
